Viagra 50mg tablet contains an active component such as Sildenafil. This medication is used to treat erectile dysfunction (ED) in men. It contains the active ingredient sildenafil citrate, which belongs to a class of drugs called phosphodiesterase type 5 (PDE5) inhibitors. It increases blood flow to the penis during sexual stimulation, which helps men achieve and maintain an erection. Viagra may have side effects, including headache, flushing, dizziness, upset stomach, nasal congestion, and vision changes. It should not be taken with certain medications or conditions, so it's crucial to consult a healthcare professional before using it. Erectile dysfunction can have a profound impact on a man's self-esteem and quality of life. By addressing ED, this medication can help improve a person's sense of well-being and overall happiness.
Individuals with a history of cardiovascular diseases, such as heart problems (angina, heart failure, irregular heartbeats) or recent heart attack, should exercise caution when using Viagra. The sexual activity itself can strain the heart and can further increase the strain by increasing blood flow. Consult with a healthcare professional to assess the risks and benefits in such cases. This medication can cause a mild decrease in blood pressure. Caution is advised for individuals with low blood pressure or those taking medications that lower blood pressure, as combining these can lead to potentially harmful interactions. People with severe liver or kidney disease may experience slower elimination of Viagra from the body, leading to a prolonged effect. Dosage adjustments may be necessary in such cases.

CVS’s “free” Viagra coupon is the latest trend in the prescription drug industry. This year, the manufacturer will begin to offer Viagra, the brand name for sildenafil citrate, on prescription at pharmacies.
It’s not surprising that consumers are increasingly concerned about Viagra’s side effects. Here’s why.
What’s new about Viagra’s side effects?
In recent years, Viagra has been found to have some unexpected side effects. Some men reported experiencing headaches, dizziness, or a sense of being sick.
This week, the FDA said that a new warning about the drug’s side effects could cause a recall.
The FDA also issued a reminder that patients with heart conditions, high blood pressure, or a history of stroke should not take Viagra.
But even these symptoms are rare, and while Viagra may cause some to seek treatment, there are more serious side effects to be aware of.
The most common of the new Viagra side effects is headaches, according to the, the medical news organization based in Tempe, Arizona.
Headaches, or headaches when you’re in pain, usually appear within a few hours of taking Viagra. They can last from 4 to 8 hours.
But Viagra’s effects can last for up to 36 hours, which is a big time investment for an individual. And there’s no guarantee that they will work.
“It is a very rare side effect,” said Dr. John Jenkins, a cardiologist at Mount Sinai Hospital in New York.
“And that’s something I look at a lot of times. It’s really uncommon in people who are taking sildenafil,” he said.
Another possible Viagra side effect is a heart problem called angina.
Angina affects the heart, which is the narrowing of the blood vessels that supply oxygen and nutrients to the heart.
Viagra can also cause changes in the body’s heart rate, which can affect blood flow.
Viagra, which is manufactured by Eli Lilly and Co., has been on the market for years. And the company is still in the process of getting regulatory approval to sell Viagra, although Pfizer is now working on its own generic version.
“We are just continuing to get new information and hopefully more,” Jenkins said.
Pfizer, the world’s biggest drug maker, said in a statement Tuesday that it had received “significantly more” reports of Viagra’s side effects than Viagara.
The company, based in Raleigh, North Carolina, declined to provide a comment.
